EDEN HOCKEY SAYS "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH" As South Africans, as athletes and as members of our communities, we are deeply affected by the violence against women that continues to take lives and leave so many living in fear. Movement should mean freedom. Every woman should be able to run. To walk. To train. To travel home. To exercise outdoors. To live her life. Without fear that she may not return. Sport should be a place where people feel strong, free and alive. No woman should have to calculate the risks to her safety simply to move through the world. Today, the entire Eden Hockey family stands with the women who have lost their lives, with their families and loved ones, and with every woman who has ever changed her route, shared her location, called someone while walking home or wondered whether it was safe to go outside alone. Women deserve to be safe. Everywhere. We add our voices to those across South Africa saying: ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!! THE EDEN DISTRICT HOCKEY STANDS TOGETHER.
